Privacy Policy

Hexpedia is the encyclopedia of hex colors. It is a free, static reference site for color values, names, conversions, palettes, and brand color references. It is a sister site to CSS Forge, a separate site for CSS generators. Hexpedia does not require accounts, sign-ups, payments, comments, uploads, or user profiles.

You can contact the operator at contact@hexpedia.org. That address is intended for privacy questions, correction requests, source questions, and general site feedback.

Hexpedia does not directly collect personal information. There are no account forms, newsletter forms, checkout flows, analytics dashboards, or comment systems on the site at this time. The site works as a static reference library in your browser.

Hexpedia stores only two local preferences in localStorage: your theme preference and your cookie consent choice. These values stay in your browser unless you clear them. They are not sent to Hexpedia servers by application code.

Hexpedia is intended to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request data, including IP addresses and security logs, to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable. Those logs are controlled by Cloudflare's own infrastructure and policies.

Fonts are loaded through Next.js font optimization and are served as part of the static site build, not requested from the Google Fonts CDN by the browser at runtime. If the font delivery setup changes in the future, this policy should be updated before launch.

Links to CSS Forge navigate to https://cssforge.dev, a different website with its own privacy practices. Hexpedia uses those links to help visitors move from color reference pages to practical CSS generator pages.

Hexpedia does not currently use any analytics service.

Hexpedia plans to add Google AdSense after the site has been indexed for a period of time. Until AdSense is approved and configured, no advertising cookies are set by Hexpedia.

When advertising is enabled, Hexpedia will ask for your consent before loading the advertising script. Choosing Reject non-essential will keep advertising scripts disabled. You can change the choice by clearing this site's localStorage in your browser.

Because Hexpedia does not maintain user accounts or a user database, most access, correction, deletion, and portability requests do not apply to data held by Hexpedia. You can delete the local preferences stored in your own browser at any time by clearing site data for hexpedia.org.

If you believe Hexpedia has received personal information about you through an email you sent, contact contact@hexpedia.org and describe the request. We will use that information only to answer and handle the request.

Hexpedia is not directed at children under 13. The site is a general reference for color values and CSS workflows.

This policy may change as hosting, advertising, or measurement choices change. The latest version will be published on this page with a clear updated date.
